At Barefoot Bonfires, we understand that Mother Nature can sometimes have plans of her own. While we aim to provide unforgettable beach bonfire experiences, safety remains our top priority. Therefore, we have developed the following bad weather policy to ensure the comfort and security of our valued customers:
Definition of Bad Weather: Bad weather conditions include, but are not limited to, heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds exceeding 20 mph, or any other conditions deemed unsafe for outdoor activities.
Reservation Rescheduling: If you anticipate inclement weather for your scheduled bonfire event, you may request to reschedule your reservation up to 24 hours before the original booking time.
Rescheduling Procedure: Contact our team at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled bonfire event.
Provide details of your current reservation and your preferred rescheduling date.
A new permit and administrative fee of $150 will be due, along with any additional permitting fees required for the new date.
Cancellation Due to Severe Weather: In the event of severe weather conditions that pose a risk to the safety of our customers and staff, Barefoot Bonfires reserves the right to cancel reservations without prior notice.
Refund Policy: If your scheduled beach bonfire is canceled do to bad weather, Barefoot Bonfires will issue a refund minus the $150 permit and administration fee.
Safety First: We closely monitor weather forecasts to ensure the safety of all participants. While we strive to accommodate your requests, our decisions regarding reservation rescheduling or cancellation will always prioritize the well-being of our customers and staff.
Communication: We will keep you informed of any changes to your reservation due to weather conditions via email or phone. Please ensure that your contact information is up to date at the time of booking.

Bad Weather Policy
Should you have to cancel your beach bonfire reservation, please let us know as soon as possible or at least 2 business days prior to your beach bonfire reservation, by calling

All standard bonfires include a $150 deposit and event (including bonfire with 30+) deposits are 50% or more based on permitting costs. Bonfires are paid in full at time of booking. Events, require 50% (or more) deposit and balance is paid 2 weeks prior to event. Cancellations must be done 2 days before your bonfire to be eligible for a refund.
Refunds are not granted if cancellation is made the same day as your bonfire. Full refunds are not issued. All refunds have a $150 cancelation fee. This fee is included in the deposit.
Cancellation Policy
Customer assumes all risk to personal injury, lost, damaged, or stolen items. Customer is responsible for their guests’ conduct and any items not allowed on the beach. The county has strict rules we must adhere to. These rules will affect our business and jobs if any of the rules are broken. Please take these rules seriously to have the best possible experience with our team and the county code enforcement officers. Rules Include: No glass on the beach, no lights on the beach, no exploding items such as confetti, no floating lanterns, no extra fire sources, no food vending on the beach including food delivery services, no fireworks, do not burn anything other than firewood. Fire is hot and must be respected. Please do not get close to fire or wear loose clothing. Do not place anything in the fire. Please watch all children and keep them away from open flames. Children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult.
